According to businessdictionary.com a service business is defined as; A commercial enterprise that provides work performed in an expert manner by an individual or team for the benefit of its customers. The typical service business provides intangible products, such as accounting, banking, consulting, cleaning, coaching, landscaping, education, insurance, treatment, and transportation services.
It is my strong opinion that our nation’s economy would be greatly improved if more people knew how to sell their services better.
As a Professional Sales Coach I have learned that the answers to just these questions greatly affects the health, well being and the future of most businesses today. The questions are…
• What do you do for a living?
• What business are you in?
• Who pays you?
I have also learned that the answers to these questions either increase sales or they explain low sales…
• What are the great reasons why someone should buy your service from you?
• Who are your ideal clients?
• What are the characteristics of someone outstanding in your industry?
If your answers to these questions for you and your business do not Tell and Sell at the same time then you are working against yourself and your business and you likely need help.
